Chona Emerson is Director of Product, Revenue (CIS) at Gigawatt, reporting to Senior Vice President of Product Art Mostofi.
At Gigawatt, Chona leads the Revenue module, focusing on modernizing CIS and billing capabilities through modular AI. She drives product innovation and solution architecture across the Utility Operating System, ensuring utilities can improve billing accuracy, transparency, and operational efficiency while meeting regulatory and compliance requirements.
Chona brings over 20 years of experience in energy and utilities, spanning product management, innovation, and enterprise CIS transformation. Prior to Gigawatt, she held multiple leadership roles at Oracle, including Director of Product Incubation and Director of Solution Innovation, where she focused on advancing next-generation infrastructure and utility solutions. She also served as Director of Product Strategy and Senior Product Manager, leading product development and strategic initiatives across Oracle’s utility portfolio.
Earlier in her career, Chona was a Senior Manager at Accenture, where she led solution architecture and business development efforts for large-scale utility transformation programs. Her experience across both product and consulting roles enables her to connect complex utility requirements with scalable, enterprise-grade solutions.
